1. About Syra

Syra is an AI-powered companion application ("the app") developed by NeuralNotions, available on Google Play under package name com.syra.ai. Syra provides conversational AI companionship, mood tracking, and memory features. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Syra. If you are between 13 and 18, you must have parental or guardian consent. By using the app, you represent that you meet these requirements. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that do not meet eligibility requirements.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information when creating your account
• Not share your account with others or allow unauthorized access

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Syra only for lawful, personal purposes. You must not:

• Use the app to harass, harm, threaten, or impersonate others
• Attempt to access, reverse-engineer, or exploit any part of the app's infrastructure
• Use the app to generate or spread harmful, illegal, or misleading content
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute any part of the app or its AI responses without permission
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the app
• Attempt to circumvent any content moderation or safety measures

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these rules, at our discretion and without prior notice.

5. Nature of the Service — Not a Medical or Crisis Service

Syra is a companion app, not a mental health service, therapy platform, or crisis helpline. Conversations with Syra are AI-generated and should not be treated as professional medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, thoughts of self-harm, or an emergency situation, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services immediately. Syra is not equipped to handle emergencies and is not a substitute for professional care.

6. AI-Generated Content

Syra's responses are generated by artificial intelligence. While we strive to provide warm, helpful, and accurate responses, AI-generated content may sometimes be:

• Inaccurate or outdated
• Inappropriate in certain contexts despite our best efforts
• Not reflective of any professional opinion or endorsement

We are continuously improving the quality and safety of Syra's responses. You acknowledge that AI responses are not infallible and exercise your own judgment accordingly.

7. Privacy

Your use of Syra is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the app, you consent to our data practices as described therein.

8. Intellectual Property

All content within the app — including the name Syra, the app design, AI-generated responses, and all associated brand elements — is owned by NeuralNotions or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the app without our express written permission.

You retain ownership of any content you create and submit (such as messages), but by submitting it you grant us a limited license to use it to provide and improve the service.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Syra is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access to the app.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NeuralNotions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the app, including but not limited to loss of data, emotional distress, or reliance on AI-generated responses.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months prior to the claim.

10. Service Changes & Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Syra at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

11. Termination

You may stop using Syra and request deletion of your account at any time. See our Account Deletion page for instructions.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, engage in abuse, or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Continued use of Syra after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Syra shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
